Largest Devon coin hoard goes on display

More than twenty thousand Roman coins have gone on display at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum.

The Seaton Down Hoard is a collection of 22,888 Roman coins and is the largest coin hoard found in Devon, the the third largest ever found in Britain.

Over the last two years, the pieces have been cleaned to reveal an Emperor's head and other images too.
