Workers discover perfectly preserved Saxon road under the streets of Birmingham

It turns out there was a hidden road under Birmingham city centre all this time. It was unearthed after builders dug up Victoria Square on Tuesday during work to expand the Midland Metro network. When word got out about the find everyone was excited, including Councillor Brigid Jones, who uploaded pictures on Twitter.
