Welcome to Livery Buttons Identified, a website that will be a growing reference of identified livery buttons.  It is hoped to be of use to collectors, metal-detectorists, archaeologists and anyone interested in the design aspects depicted on livery buttons.  With estimates of around 70,000+ different designs it will be a long term project and I don't profess to be able to obtain images of and identify them all!  I would welcome good clear images of buttons either identified or not so that they can be added to the site.
