Ironman's Lost Ring Recovered By Metal Detectorist

How sad that Martyn Baggaley lost his precious wedding ring during the Ironman event on Sunday 12th July. Although he stopped and lost valuable time - plus had the help of spectators - he didn't find his ring.
So he put out a message on social media in the hope it might help - but he wasn't that confident it would make any difference.
This is where I heard of it and put out many appeals on my Facebook groups. After several MDer's offered their assistance - but were to far away, I eventually made a connection with Les Barrett who jumped up to the mark and managed to locate the ring in around 30 minutes.
