Treasure hunter accidentally finds one of the largest hauls of Roman coins in the UK after heading back to his van to get a sandwich

A hungry metal detector enthusiast stumbled upon the coins in 2014
They were found in East Yorkshire, close to the old Roman capital of York
Experts say the haul of coins has been valued at more than £44,000
They are thought to date back to the time of Constantine the Great
