Two new caves discovered in Nottingham every week

Two new caves are discovered in Nottingham every week, according to an archaeologist who believes there are still more to find.

Scott Lomax, who is acting archaeologist for Nottingham City Council, said 22 caves have been found since the start of July and believes there are 650 recorded caves in the city - many of them in The Park.
