EVESHAM residents are being invited to see a significant archaeological dig this month.

As part of the Environment Agency's Badsey Brook Flood risk management scheme, Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service have been carrying out an archaeological excavation.

There has been a lot of interest in the site, so it is being opened to visitors between 10am and 4pm on Friday, November 18, and Monday, November 21.

Visitors can come along and discover more about archaeology and the site, as well as hold some of the artefacts that have been uncovered.
